Ask for the university agreements and get the universities
Ask Frank for university enterprise agreements, in chat or in the Agreements search, and the list is the universities’ own agreements - read from each agreement’s title and employer, not its industry category - with students’ unions and campus contractors named as what they are.
What it does
An industry category is a coarse thing. "Educational services" holds schools, kindergartens, TAFEs and universities alike, and a university’s agreement can sit under whatever category its file was given. So when you ask for a kind of employer rather than an industry, Frank now reads the agreements themselves: the title each one carries and the employer it names.
Type university into the Agreements search, or ask in chat for the university EBAs, and you get the universities’ own agreements first - the academic and professional staff agreements, the vocational teaching agreements, the ones titled by acronym - and then, named as such, the bodies that share a campus without being the university: a students’ union or guild, a sports association, a contractor’s agreement for security or catering on a university site, a childcare company a university owns.
66 universities’ own agreements · 25 related bodies on campus
Where an agreement’s record names a university in one field and a different employer in another, Frank reads the document’s own title as the authority and says how many records it set aside for that reason, rather than serving them as a university’s.
What changes for you
The list is the thing you asked for. A search for universities returns universities, ordered with the readable, most recently approved agreements first.
Related bodies are labelled, not hidden. A students’ union agreement can be exactly what you need as a comparator; it is shown, and it says what it is.
It carries into a clause search. Ask for the university agreements that carry a particular clause - a redundancy scale, a parental leave term - and the clause is searched inside those agreements alone.
Where to find it
In Agreements → Search, type the kind of employer into the name box. In chat, ask for it in your own words.
