Case Management: every document of a matter, read as one case
Upload the application, the emails, the statements and the screenshots, and Frank keeps them on one file - so a question four turns later is answered in the matter’s own facts.
What it does
A matter is almost never one document. The application, the chain it came out of, the statements and the screenshots each carry part of it, and the part that answers your question is rarely in the one you attached last.
Each document you load is read once and kept as a record: what the document is in its own words, who the parties are, the dates, and the passages that matter, quoted. Those records stay on the matter's file for the whole conversation.
You can add to the file at any time - from your computer or from documents you have already uploaded - and the file names itself once Frank can see what the matter is:
Nguyen v Riverbend Foods Pty Ltd · General protections · 14 documents on file
What changes for you
Ask about the matter, not about one file. "What did the employer say about the placement?" is answered from the email chain, while the application is still in view.
Nothing is summarised. Every fact Frank holds from a document is a quote located in that document, shown with the page it came from. If it is not in the document, it is not on the file.
Your searches get sharper. Case law is searched on the facts the file establishes, not on the words of your last message.
Your library groups by matter. Documents loaded as part of one matter are found together again, and you can search or filter by matter in Files and when attaching.
Where to find it
The file sits above the conversation. Click any document to see what Frank holds from it, add more, or take one off the file.
Case Management is included with Pro. Everything else in this release is on every plan.
